I am my team

Last year we were excited to partner with the Klabu Foundation. They are doing an incredible job at building sports clubs where young refugees are rebuilding their lives, and raising funds by selling high-quality sportswear. We supplied the distinctive chest and sleeve logos, back graphics and neck tape for the soccer jerseys, as well as hang tags and packaging for the kits.

As any soccer fan will contend, the crest is of utmost importance to symbolizing the values of the club, and is arguably the most important feature of the entire kit.

Taking a closer look at Klabu’s crest, we want to highlight two of the material techniques that can be used to elevate this key branding feature.

The crest that made it onto the final kits features double and triple shuttle weave, finished with a satin stitch edge and heat seal.

Below Right
In this iteration, we realized the textures of an embroidered crest using our high-definition Agility® heat transfer.
