Physically Apart,
Together in Heart

During this unprecedented time, forces beyond our control are pulling us physically apart. Yet through our collective spirit and resolve we are bringing ourselves closer together more than ever. By wearing a patch dedicated to those risking their lives and in solidarity with everyone staying home, we express not only our commitment to weather this storm, but also our unity as a global community.

Patches include messages such as “Stay Home”, “Stay Safe”, “Be Kind” and “Hero” and impactful graphic imagery of healthcare workers. The iron-on patches can be bought online in packs of six for $25 with the proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres in support of their medical humanitarian aid programs. The idea is for people to buy them and share them with their friends and family. Avery Dennison has been using them to brighten the days of healthcare workers by using them to decorate and donate scrubs and uniforms.

“The product is about bringing happiness. It’s about elevating frontline people to heroes and making them feel good about what they are doing,”

Michael Barton, Avery Dennison RBIS Vice President

Outside of the frontline of the crisis and the fundraising, these patches could provide the solution to many of fashion's great current challenges such as over-stocks, making personalized products on demand and tapping into the desire for people to send a message through their clothing.
